Thank you for coming to our site in support of Kenneth (Ken) Christopher for Lysander Town Councilor! 

From our candidate:

I grew up in a small town, just up Route 31. I understand the draw of a small town, of rural settings, and of open spaces. I appreciate all these things and the beauty that our town has to offer. I also see places for improvement, for embracing smart changes and progressing the community of Lysander into the future. With luck, this will be my forever hometown, and my vision is a place that continues to be a fantastic place to live, work and raise a family. 

We need to make smart choices to continue to support our fantastic school district. We need to continue to intelligently grow housing opportunities and be welcoming to those who want to plant their roots here. Housing affordability and access is a nationwide problem, and we have the ability to be part of the solution. We need to continue to support our local businesses and remain competitive with our neighboring towns so that we can draw more businesses and opportunities to our town. We want people to see Lysander as a place they want to work and live. 

I am a successful business owner. I have served and continue to serve on charitable boards and understand what it takes to keep things moving forward. I am a skilled and willing negotiator that will stand up for my principles and beliefs and put my effort into helping continue forward the vision of our town. 

Town Elections have the most direct consequences in our daily lives. I am a candidate that will listen to your thoughts and carefully consider input from all citizens. My goal is to work forward within my principles, but to always keep an open mind.
